Psychological screening that holds up.
POST and TCOLE compliant pre-employment psychological evaluations for peace officers, dispatchers, custody staff, and other public safety positions. Clear findings, delivered on time.
What the evaluation covers
Every pre-employment evaluation is built around the job. The goal is a fair, well-documented answer to one question: is this candidate psychologically suitable for the position the agency is hiring for?
Evaluations are conducted in line with POST Commission Regulation 1955 for California agencies and TCOLE requirements for Texas agencies, along with any procedures specific to the referring agency.
- Validated psychological testing appropriate to public safety screening
- Review of background information and history provided by the agency and the candidate
- Structured clinical interview by secure video, focused on job-relevant factors
- Written report with a clear suitability finding, delivered to the agency point of contact
Positions evaluated
Peace officer, deputy, and police officer candidates, public safety dispatchers, custody and corrections personnel, and other positions that require a psychological screening before hire.
What candidates should expect
After the agency makes the referral, the candidate receives a secure intake form and instructions by email. Most candidates should plan for about 2 to 3 hours to complete testing and the interview.
Reports go to the referring agency. Candidates who want a copy of the report should request it through the agency.
