Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What kind of evaluations do you provide?
I specialize in psychological evaluations for law enforcement and public safety applicants, including pre-employment screenings, return-to-duty evaluations, and second-opinion assessments.

Q: What agencies do you work with?
I currently contract with multiple law enforcement agencies throughout California and other municipal departments. Referrals typically come directly from the agency or their background unit.

Q: I’ve been referred for an evaluation. What should I expect?
You will receive a secure intake form and additional instructions via email. Evaluations may include a clinical interview, psychological testing, and review of records. Please allow up to 2–3 hours for the full appointment.

Q: How do I prepare for my evaluation?
Be rested, honest, and arrive on time. If your agency requires specific documents (e.g., background packet, test scores), please bring them or upload them in advance using the secure form.

Q: How long does it take to receive results?
Results are typically returned to the referring agency within 5–10 business days, depending on the complexity of the evaluation and availability of required records.

Q: Do I get a copy of the evaluation?
Evaluations are conducted at the request of and released to the referring agency. If you would like a copy, please contact your agency directly.

Q: What if I need to reschedule?
Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to avoid rescheduling delays. No-shows or last-minute cancellations may be reported to your agency.
